Our firm provides independent risk management and insurance advice to small and mid-sized entities. We do not sell insurance, nor do we have any affiliations with any insurance companies or brokers. All work is performed on a fee basis paid directly by our clients. No commissions or contingencies are accepted. It is only under these circumstances that we feel professional, fair, unbiased risk management advice can be provided.
The fundamental objective of the risk management process is the preservation of an organization's assets and earning streams from loss or destruction. Exposure to risk is controlled through application of various alternatives: financing, elimination, reduction, retention, transfer and avoidance.
Company History
Baily Raabe & Associates (formerly the Risk Management Division of Slabaugh Morgan Halliwell, Halliwell Consulting Group and Professional Risk Management Consultants) was organized in 1983 to provide the Western Pennsylvania business community with an impartial consulting firm specializing in the risk management field. Our professional staff averages over 30 years experience in risk management and insurance and all have earned the prestigious Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations.
